Amazing footballers
Jasmine and Tessa played for the Alton Thundercats 1 at the first ever Alton girls football festival. This was an invitational for the U9’s to U13’s event to promote girls football in Hampshire. It was very well attended with over 100 girls playing in teams from Alton to Portsmouth/Southampton. Jasmine and Tessa played for the U11’s Thundercats 1, a group which were matched against mostly under 12’s teams in group A. They made it through to the plate final against Eastleigh which they won 1-0. Great assist from Jaz and brilliant goal from Tessa 😁⚽️. Molly also played in Thundercats U11’ 2 with Amelia playing for the Alton meerkats. They had some fantastic competitively close matches in their groups. There are trophies for the girls at Alton but it’s amazing to promote these girls as so many play for the local football teams and represent Binsted going forward!!
