We are looking an inspiring and dynamic Headteacher from September 2024 to lead our school, building on the achievements of our retiring Head and growing our school for the future. Located within the beautiful countryside of the South Downs National Park, near the market town of Alton, we are a small, established, yet forward-thinking, village school with a great deal to offer you.
Our aim is to provide education of the highest quality where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential within the strong family ethos of the school. Our core Christian values of Faith, Hope and Love are woven into every aspect of school and community life.
You will be an innovative leader with vision and energy who will lead the school and help us achieve our potential and beyond. We will look to you to forge strong links with children, parents, staff, governors, local schools, churches and the wider community.
We are looking for someone who not only loves children, but who is passionate about their learning, development and welfare. As well as being very approachable, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills, combined with the ability to manage the team and use our resources effectively.
You will be leading a happy and friendly school which promotes a family atmosphere as well as becoming part of a supportive partnership with staff and governors, bringing both challenges and rewards. Together we will achieve a bright and rewarding future for our children, school and community.
Visits to the school prior to application are welcomed. Please phone Mrs Lucas the administration officer on 01420 23200 or e-mail adminoffice@binsted.hants.sch.ukto arrange a convenient time.
