Rainbow Maths Challenges

At Binsted, all pupils are asked to complete Maths Challenges. 

These Challenges support basic Maths knowledge of number bonds and multiplication tables.

Number Bonds of 10, both addition and subtraction facts, verbally and then written

e.g.      1 + �� ���� = 10,  �� + 5 = 10

10 -  �� = 6, 10 – 3 =  ����

Rainbow Maths Challenge 2

Number Bonds of 20, both addition and subtraction facts, verbally and then written

e.g.      11 + �� ���� = 20, ���� + 15 = 20

20 -  �� = 8, �� 20 - 15 = ����

Rainbow Maths Challenge 3

Number Bonds of 100 in 10s, both addition and subtraction facts, verbally and then written

e.g.      30 + �� ���� = 100, ���� + 80 = 100

            100 - ���� = 30, 100�� - 80 = ����
