Our new eco club is up and running. We are all very excited to make our school more environmentally friendly. We have some exciting things planned. We will be designing and building our own bug hotels to go in the school grounds. We also have three tree saplings to plant, wild flower seeds to sow and composting ideas to discus. The children are excited to get going on our Eco schools award next academic year.
At Binsted we are keen to make our school more environmentally friendly. We have introduced a new food waste bin which will be collected regularly to be turned into compost. Eco club are also introducing a new compost bin so we can compost our compostable packaging and also are fruit peelings and banana skins to use in the school grounds. Eco club will be responsible for emptying into the compost bin and will be designing posters for use around the school to encourage use of the bins.
