Young Governors plant trees to commemorate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Young Governors planted trees in the school grounds as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy imitative to plant trees to commemorate her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.

Mr Ben Hamlin, The Binsted Tree Warden, came along to help along with Mrs Dunne our Foundation Governor. Five fruit trees and twelve smaller native trees were planted in the playing field.

Our new Young Governors are very enthusiastic and have lots of ideas! This term the Young Governors helped to support the FOBS fundraising " Christmas Shop" by making special Christmas labels to put on all the gifts.

Young Governors had suggested running a Talent Show which was a popular request from children in all the classes. The show was held on the 10th December. Please see the video clips on the News and Events area of this website
