Here at Binsted we know the importance of a strong home school relationship! Over the year we want to work closely with our parents/careers ensuring that we support our children with every aspect of their personal and learning development.

Communication is vital...and we have an open door policy in Oak class. If we are unable to chat please make an appointment to meet with us either before or after school where we are able to give you are dedicated time. We are also happy to speak over the phone or email if more convenient. We will use the children's 'Reading record' books as a way of communicating as well, so anything you need to tell us can be written in here and it will be checked everyday.

In addition to the above we would love to have any of our parents/careers to come into the class to share their passions or areas of expertise!

This could be for example their love of gardening, cooking, woodworking, art (the list is endless) or their job; nurse, vet, optician, engineer (anything that you think the children may be interested in). Please get in touch if you would like to come in and share with the children.
