On the 26th April we launched a whole school fundraiser for KIDZ 4 KIDZ, a campaign by CCLL - A Helping Hand for Ukraine, who take much needed supplies to children in Ukraine.  We set the children a challenge to try to cover the distance from Binsted School to the Border of Ukraine, 1161 miles.  They were also asked to see if they can raise money in the form of sponsorship for their miles and decided to aim high at £1000 as our target.  This all felt rather ambitious, but the children were up for it and off we set.

Since then we have been giving weekly updates in celebration assembly on a Friday and also in the newsletters, to communicate how we were progressing in our task.  We have been blown away by the enthusiasm of the staff and children for the mileage count, along with the enormous generosity of the school community.

We are so very proud to announce that we have actually covered double the initial target in terms of mileage and we are a hair's breadth from £2000 including gift aid.
