Termly Overviews

We use Development Matters to support our children's learning and development. Using this as our foundation and knowing our children and their interests, we then create our own curriculum to support and develop each individual in their learning journey through Oak class.

As well as following our own Curriculum Destinations and the children's interests, this term we will be focusing on

smileyMinibeasts smileyMapping smileyPeople and places around the world smileyWriting phrases and sentences smileyNumber bonds within 10 smileyDoubles and odd and even numbers.

In addition to the above, we will also be preparing our children for the transition into Year 1.

Festivals and Events Through The Year

Throughout the year we will also be celebrating and learning about different events and festivals from around the world. Sharing in these events will help us to learn more about the world around us, including different cultures and beliefs.
